Here's what Jim C said after Nightshift's Summer Concert in Newington on August 27, 2022:

Oh my god …. My wife was recommended this when she was looking for things to do in CT and asked if I was interested. I said yes and we got to the show just after you started.

The song list was incredible! I knew EVERY SONG! It was such a great night!

We have been texting everyone we know to tell them how great you guys are.

Can’t wait to catch another show. Thank you so much for making my weekend !

Here's what Tim Cordova (a Desert Storm veteran and a current Police Officer) told us at one of our shows recently:

"I was deeply moved when you dedicated songs to our veterans and our police officers!

It made me feel appreciated and very special.....Something rare these days! Thank you!"

And Nightshift sincerely thanks all of them for their kind words!

Here's what Rick Maynard, Guilford, CT's Parks and Recreation Director said in an email to us after

we performed on the Guilford Green for the second year in a row on July 29, 2018:

"Thanks to you and the group for another excellent concert last night!

People loved the music and the quality of the musicianship.

It is great to hear the old songs that bring us back to high school days!"

We are also very well-known for our strong support for all our Veterans, our Active Military Personnel, our Police, our Firefighters and all First Responders. We always make it a point to recognize and thank them during every performance for continually keeping us all safe. That has always been EXTREMELY well received by every audience and we are proud to do it for them!

And here's what Don Grise of the Connecticut State Lions Club said after we provided the music for the

Lions State Convention on May 3rd, 2019 (complete with pictures that he took of us that night!)

Here's what Kevin M said about the latest incarnation of Nightshift after their Summer Concert in Newingon:

"Anyone who was concerned (as many of us were) about how Nightshift would fare after three members left the band need only to have been in Newington tonight to know that those concerns are gone forever.

Their timing was spot on, the balance between instruments was perfect and Al Fichtel, OMG, where did they find this guy? He was in exceptionally fine voice all night, but his rendition of Journey’s Faithfully was absolutely phenomenal!

Don’t miss these guys; they get better each time they play together."

Here's what "CD" (owner of Donahue's Madison Beach Grille) said about Nightshift:

"You guys have definitely created your own niche! No other bands play the songs you play and my customers love all of them!"

Here's what "Marty" said in an email we received from him:

Here's what Mike Caprio (a Vietnam Veteran) said to us after we called him up on stage to publicly thank him for his service during our Memorial Day show at the Back Porch in Old Saybrook:

"Thanks Kenny. You guys helped make it one of the best moments of my life!

Really appreciate your dedication to our veterans!!! You guys are the best!

No Mike.......YOU and our Veterans are the BEST!

And there wasn't a dry eye in the place!

Here's what "Al and Sherry" emailed to us right after our show in Farmington:

I really liked when you introduced the band, you also included where each member was from. I personally remember a person better when I can connect a name and a location. It is very unusual for most bands to do that. I think learning that you all are from CT helps you to connect with a CT audience AND knowing that one band member is from Bridgeport and another from Coventry makes people appreciate what you have to do to perform as a band!
Since we sat in the "front row” last night we could really observe how Al connected with the two 3-year-old girls dancing to the music, as well as others in the audience. His ability to connect with the audience is a bonus that normally does not happen with any band. And then at the end of the concert, Al went up to the 2 girls and thanked them for the dance!!!

I never saw that before.

Here is a message from "Lynn" who was at a recent show at Sonny's Place:

"My dad was a Vietnam Veteran so I was deeply moved at Sonny's Place by your heartfelt support of our Veterans!

I immediately thought of my dad and I actually teared up when you invited a Vietnam Veteran up on stage with you so he could finally get the respect and appreciation that he never received when he returned home back then. Well done guys!

I am now a forever fan of Nightshift  because of that and I sincerely thank you for making our Veterans feel special every night!"

Thank you so much for that nice message Lynn! We promise that we will ALWAYS honor our Veterans!

Here's what Frank Solomon said to us after we performed on the North Haven Green:

"I knew the words of every song you played and they're all on my IPOD. These are the songs that I grew up with and I never get to hear them anymore. Thank you for bringing me back to my happy place!"

Here's what Peter Whelan (a Nightshift fan) just said to us recently:

"It's so nice to hear a band that's not just another cookie-cutter band playing the same songs that all the other bands play!

I LOVE every song you played tonight!"

I was at Donahue's last Saturday night and I wanted to compliment you on your amazing set list! Every song was a song that most bands don't play but I for one loved every one of them (and obviously so did everyone else since the place went crazy and everyone stayed all night!)

Thank you for not playing all the songs that EVERY band always plays and providing us with a breath of fresh air. I can't wait to come and see you again so I can relive the good years with all the great songs that I've always loved but haven't gotten to hear until last Saturday night.

About Nightshift

We are a 5-piece 60’s, 70’s and 80’s cover band that only performs the most popular and the most fun songs from those three decades. All of us have been members of many well-known bands in Connecticut over the years and in 2015 we combined our talents to form this very exciting group.  We know your audiences will love every song that we play and they will sing along, dance and have a REALLY fun time, from the kiddies to the grandparents! They always have! And we have a HUGE following in just this short time, too!

Here's what Lillian from the Manchester's MCC Bicentennial Band Shell Committee

said when we performed there:

"I loved all of your songs and I especially loved watching people of all ages dancing to every song  all night long!"

Here's what Kerry Sullivan of the Waterford Parks and Recreation Department

This past Sunday we enjoyed you at Sonny's Place. It was such a great honor when you asked me up to sing with you and how you make us feel so proud.

Just wanted to thank you all for what you do for us Veterans

We'll keep your group on our short list for other events and fundraisers that we hold throughout the year.

I'm so glad you were able to join us and make the party a time to remember.
Thanks again."
